And THAT my friends.. . is what baking is all about - Helping others celebrate a special moment, helping bring joy and memories. Getting to be the special one to create something to help bring joy and tears. I could not be happier for this couple. They are truly amazing. Not only are they foodies alike - running their own restaurant and creating AMAZING/unique flavors of icecream, but they are also incredibly kind folks that are unique. It is such a blessing and so so wonderful that they are able to have this baby girl and raise it just like any other couple. I am so incredibly happy for them. So filled with joy. It makes me so happy that they are so in love and such good people, and they are able to do the same thing that many couples are able to do... I can't help but have a smile on my face whenever I think about them. I must look silly with a huge smile on my face out of the blue. But there is no way around the Holiday season that it was possible to not be filled with Joy just because of this.

It feels wonderful to get so many complements and so many thank you's for being a part of their special day. I am so happy to make others happy. A video to show their excitement while cutting into the cake.. brought tears to my eyes. Tears of SO MUCH Joy. Tears of knowing why I do what I do. I love good people. Heck, I love people. Thank You Trevor and Michael for letting me be the one to create this fun cake. SO many amazing memories ahead!
