2010love - Inspiring people to make positive changes for themselves and for those around them. Starting Now.

2010love was launched by Handshoe Design Collaborative (started in November of 2009). They began 2010 with a goal of creating a difference. They set a tight deadline for this project, giving them only two weeks to produce the shirts, take photos of their goods, and create an Etsy store, and a blog that would be successful and really support the 2010 project. Then came finding sites to support 2010love. They connected with twitter, facebook, and had sites like CoolMomPicks.com, DesignMom.com and OperationNice.com as marketing leads.

This is a great tag and also an awesome idea and purpose! Inspiring all to make a difference and take action starting now!

"We challenge you to decide what you love and love it in a big way. Embrace philanthropy. Volunteer. If you’re a leader, lead. If you have a gift, share it. Whatever you have to give, make the decision, then take action in 2010:
Love what matters."
Check out Handshoe Design Collaborative, the combined creativity of two sisters. Dedicated to a conscious, sustainable way of life and business. Helping people to develop a brand or a business that has the power and energy to really make a difference!

Creating something new verses optimizing

the non-optimized life

I definitely need to get some things together. But in my head.. I want to start fresh. Start something new. In my life that is..

On another note, I've thought about how I should fix my blog, edit posts I've made, better my grammar, focus more on one thing, delete junk...
I enjoy this short blog post by Seth Godin. Why take time to go back and edit anything. Continue to develop and create myself. More experimenting... How to steps? Packaging design. Packaging design. Great photography.

"But I also worry that a never-ending cycle of optimization can become a crutch, a place to hide when you really should be confronting the endless unknown, not the banal stair step of incremental optimization. While Yahoo was optimizing their home page in 2001, the guys at Google were inventing something totally new.

That's one reason I resist the temptation to optimize this blog for traffic and yield. I'd rather force myself to improve it by having the guts to write better posts instead."
